Kevin Hart isn’t happy with his latest wax look.
“Oh my god… what have I done to these people,” the 46-year-old comedian wrote on his Instagram last Saturday after sharing a video of the wax figure wearing a gold chain and a leather jacket with his arms outstretched. The video, which is themed to “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” says, “I know that’s not Kevin Hart.”
“This is an attack….Who the hell is this????” he continued. “At this point, these museums are just trying to make me cry.”
The “Ride Along” star added a sad emoji along with four laughing emojis.
“This has to stop…do it again, dammit!” he added.
The wax figure went viral as fans debated who it actually resembled.
“That’s Devin Hart!” one person wrote in the comments. “You asked for Kevin Hart and you got Kevin the Weeknd.”
“I thought that was me,” joked a fellow black comedian.
“They ordered a wax figure of Tim,” chimed in a fourth, while another mused: “They gave him a Jim Carrey makeover.”
“Kevin Hardley,” another commenter quipped.
“Chris Rock Tucker in the face,” someone else chimed in, as another fan thought the statue “looks like what your youngest child would look like when he’s older,” presumably referring to Hart’s youngest son Kenzo, 8.
“I feel like this has something to do with @therock,” another fan joked about her mischievous friendship with Jumanji co-star Dwayne Johnson.
Mr Johnson responded to Mr Hart’s post with a sarcastic comment: “Perfect. No need to change anything.”
Over the weekend, Johnson posted a video of Hart teasing him while they were eating lunch on the set of his new movie Jumanji, writing, “I hate this so much I want to punch @kevinhart4real’s little Keebler elf in the face but damn his comment makes my jaw hurt from laughing so hard.”
He added: “By the way, we don’t have three minutes between takes, so we devour our meals with shovel-sized spoons. Will a working man be able to eat in peace? There’s a reward, Kev.”
According to People magazine, a statue of Hart was unveiled last week at the Hollywood Wax Museum in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
Fox News Digital has reached out to the museum for comment.
