DeVonta Anderson becomes a father.
The “Love Is Blind” Season 10 star revealed she’s expecting a baby and has a new fiancé during the Netflix show’s shocking reunion on Wednesday.
“I wanted to get into this job to be a husband and a father. Those were the two most important things to me,” the mortgage loan officer, who proposed to Brittany Wicker on the series, told viewers before sharing the “exciting news.”
He said, “I’m going to be a father this year.”
Anderson went on to announce that he is engaged to his partner, but they do not live together.
Instead, the reality star is living in a house in Arizona with fellow cast member Alex Henderson.
Ms Wicker insisted she was “not upset” that her ex-girlfriend was moving on.
The nurse confirmed that she is currently single.
She confronted Anderson during the episode, slamming him for “dragging[the relationship]out for weeks” after they decided not to get married on air.
“I felt like the moment he walked out my door, he was done with that relationship, and he just didn’t want to tell me that,” Wicker recalled.
She particularly highlighted an “uncomfortable” moment when Anderson called her a “shadow” during a confessional.
Ms. Wicker said, “I gave him so much space that I felt like my love language was unfulfilled. … (His statements) were very confusing to me.”
The reunion led to more shocking moments, from Brianna “Breezy” Macney and Connor Spies getting back together after their wedding was called off, to Amber Morrison and Jordan Faeth’s divorce.
Additionally, Jessica Barrett continued dating Pod Squad member Haramol Gil after her breakup with ex-fiancé Chris Fusco.
The two had a “very deep connection” on the show, and Barrett fell in love with his “thoughtful and kind” co-star off-air.
