In the words of Kylie Jenner’s ex-brother-in-law Kanye West, her presence is a gift.
The makeup mogul graces the cover of Vanity Fair’s spring issue in a (literally) pared-back equestrian outfit, lighting a cigarette in a satin Dolce & Gabbana bra and Hermès equestrian trousers, but the cover photo is quite conservative compared to the rest of the spread.
In one particularly racy photo, the 28-year-old style star struts through the hallways of a luxurious mansion wearing nothing but a giant Chanel bow (technically a cape, according to the credits) and a brooch.
Other standout snaps from Mert Alas’ shoot for the magazine include Jenner lying on a bed in a frilly Saint Laurent dress, modeling a Miu Miu scalloped bra, and even channeling West’s new wife Bianca Sensori in a sheer sock-style no-shirt.
In an accompanying interview with Nate Freeman, the youngest Kardashian-Jenner spoke about her acting debut in Charli XCX’s A24 mockumentary The Moment and the origins of her Kylie Cosmetics empire. “It was probably half the money I had in my bank account,” she recalls of the $250,000 she spent getting her beauty company off the ground. And then there’s the dress decorated with a lion’s head that became a hot topic at Schiaparelli’s 2023 show.
Jenner’s relationship with fellow A-list actress Timothée Chalamet came up during the chat, with Freeman asking Jenner how it felt to have the Marty Supreme actor profess his love for her on stage at the Critics’ Choice Awards.
“Are you having fun?” Freeman asked.
“Of course,” Jenner replied.
Following their fashionable joint appearances throughout awards season (including matching orange leather chrome hearts at the Marty Supreme premiere and an all-black ensemble at the BAFTAs), we can’t wait to see what the duo pulls out at Sunday’s Oscars.
