Ellie Goulding has given birth to her second child.
The little one is the “Love Me Like You Do” singer’s first child with boyfriend Beau Minier.
“On Friday (March 6), I gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby girl and we are completely in love with her,” she announced on her Instagram Story on Tuesday, giving a glimpse of her newborn baby.
“It was fitting to spend International Women’s Day with her and the amazing team of women at St. Mary’s University. They provided me and my baby with extraordinary care and kindness.”
“I’m always in awe of midwives and this addition to our family fills me with so much joy. Arthur is especially excited to be a big brother to this little angel.”
She then shared a second story featuring a chocolate cake with the words “Welcome Baby Sister” written on it.
The Grammy nominee, 39, is also mother to son Arthur with ex-husband Casper Jopling.
The former couple married in August 2019 and gave birth to a baby boy almost two years later.
Golding announced her divorce on her Instagram Story in February 2024, revealing that she had separated from her 34-year-old art dealer “some time before” she made the news public.
“We remain the closest of friends and have successfully co-parented with (our son’s) best interests in mind,” she wrote.
Jopling told his followers he wanted to “put all the final tabloid speculation to rest” after his ex-girlfriend made headlines for PDA with surfing instructor Armando Perez. The following year, he signed a contract with Olivia Wilde.
It’s unclear when Golding started dating Miniar, 28, but the two became official on Instagram in July 2025.
At the time, the actor posted a naked photo of Golding lying in bed as part of a slideshow on social media.
The songwriter debuted her baby bump at the Fashion Awards 2025 in December 2025.
Golding teased her pregnancy on Instagram at the time, quipping, “AI is crazy these days.”
She showed off her budding belly for the cover of Nylon in January, and made rare comments about Minear in an interview without mentioning her name.
“I have a great boyfriend,” Ms Golding exclaimed, recalling how she “came out of the adversity” of her divorce by being “excited to meet a new man”.
Briefly mentioning their growing family, the actor said, “It’s great to be able to raise children, and I feel so lucky that I’m healthy, but that’s not all that I am right now.”
