Pink abruptly canceled two performances in Mexico City scheduled for April 26 and 27, for reasons “beyond the artist’s control.”
“Important announcement regarding Pink,” promoter Osesa wrote in a statement shared via X on Friday.
“We regret to inform the general public in Mexico City that the PINK show scheduled for April 26th and 27th at Estadio GNP Seguros will not take place due to a complex situation arising from unforeseen events affecting the logistics of the event and beyond the control of the artists, promoters and venue.”
“We understand the excitement of attending these concerts and deeply appreciate the understanding of our fans,” the statement continued, promising full refunds to those who purchased tickets.
A representative for the singer did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The update comes shortly after the 46-year-old singer publicly denied rumors that she had split from husband Carey Hart after more than 20 years of marriage.
“So I was informed of the fact that I was separated from my husband. I didn’t know,” she said in a video she shared to Instagram in February.
“Thank you for letting me know. Can you please tell my kids too? My 14-year-old and 9-year-old don’t even notice,” she added.
“Or do you want to talk about real news? Do you want to talk about the Epstein file? Do you want to talk about systemic racism? Do you want to talk about misogyny in sports? Or do you want to talk about how classy the women’s hockey team is?” she continued, referring to other articles that made headlines at the time.
The divisive speculation surfaced after the singer reportedly moved to New York from California’s Central Coast.
As Page Six exclusively reported, Pink has moved to the Big Apple with the potential to step up as the successor to Kelly Clarkson’s talk show of the same name.
But the Who Knew? hitmaker doubled down on her claims that her marriage is on good terms as she made her hosting debut earlier this week.
Pink took to the stage with her daughter Willow, wearing a graphic T-shirt that read “Give Me Good News” and sending a poignant message. This is a clear nod to what was said on social media in response to the press.
