Dolly (in theaters March 6 from Independent Film Company and Shudder) — Director and co-writer Rod Blackhurst helms this slasher about a big masked pimp named Dory (played by wrestler Max the Impaler) who wants to raise a young woman (Fabien Therese) as his baby. After premiering at last year’s Fantastic Fest, “Dolly” hit theaters and is poised to terrorize the big screen.
Didn’t Die (in theaters March 6 from Level 33 Entertainment) — Meera Menon’s black-and-white zombie apocalypse film, which she co-wrote with her cinematographer husband Paul Gleeson, tells the story of a podcaster who returns to his hometown and accepts that nothing will ever be the same again.
Deadly Horror (distributed by Atlas and released in theaters March 13) — Written and directed by Paul Boyd, this film uses horror film cinematography to evoke a real séance. Genre icons Lin Shaye and Bill Moseley star in this dark satire.
Vampire of the Velvet Lounge (in theaters March 20th from Strand Releasing) — Mena Suvari, Dichen Lachman, and Stephen Dorff star in Adam Sherman’s comedy about a vampire hunter who takes on vampires who find victims on dating apps.
“Forbidden Fruits” (in theaters March 27 from Independent Film Company and Shudder) — A witchy comedy with a lively cast that includes Lili Reinhart, Laura Tung, Victoria Pedretti, Alexandra Shipp, Emma Chamberlain and Gabrielle Union opens at South by Southwest 2026, followed by a nationwide release.
