Margaret Josephs is documenting every step of her rhinoplasty surgery on Instagram.
The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star shared a series of plastic surgery progress photos Wednesday, from bandages and bruises to the final results.
“No one wants saggy chips,” she captioned the merry-go-round, starting with a “before” photo. “Some people may call this rhinoplasty, but I call it ‘nose rejuvenation.'”
“As I got older, the tip of my nose began to droop when I laughed, which I was really unhappy about. When I was younger, I didn’t hate my nose and couldn’t imagine getting a rhinoplasty, but as I got older, the cartilage in my nose could no longer support the tip, and even the slightest bump in my nose became accentuated.”
“Every time I take a photo of myself, I really notice it and it bothers me,” the 58-year-old Bravolebrity continued. “I went to @drgarymotykie for a little adjustment and now the nose fits my face perfectly.”
Josephs’ slideshow included a close-up selfie taken 24 hours after she was stabbed, and the reality star joked that she “had some balls walking around Beverly Hills” looking like that.
The fashion designer joked that she was “scaring kids in the pool” during her recovery.
One week after surgery, Josephs removed the bandages and showed off her results from different angles, finishing off her upload with a snap from her high school reunion taken eight weeks after surgery.
“I’m a big proponent of doing what makes you happy and what makes you feel your best,” exclaimed the businesswoman. “Thank you Dr. Motykie for this subtle upgrade. It made a huge difference for me.”
Over the years, Josephs has pulled back the curtain on other surgeries, including facelifts and breast lifts.
In a June 2020 interview with New Beauty magazine, she called the former “the best thing[she]has ever done.”
Josephs also opened up about “regular maintenance” on her Botox and “sporadic” laser treatments.
“Every time a woman tries to do something for her own health, it’s subject to intense scrutiny and seen as controversial,” she says.
The following month, Josephs defended publicly discussing plastic surgery on the podcast “Caviar Dreams, Tuna Budgets.”
“I’m not going to fake it or have plastic surgery. That’s not the point,” she clarified on a July 2020 episode. “If you want to do something to yourself to feel better, you don’t have to feel guilty about it.”
