Supermodel and “Dallas” star Annabelle Schofield has died at the age of 62 after a battle with cancer.

Scofield, who appeared on the cover of Vogue magazine and starred in campaigns for major brands such as Yves Saint Laurent, died on February 28 in Los Angeles, The Hollywood Reporter reported.

In a GoFundMe post, she revealed that during her three-year battle with the disease, she discovered in July that the cancer had spread to her brain.

During her career, the Welsh-born model appeared in commercials for brands such as Rimmel, Revlon, and Boots No.7.

She became particularly famous for her role in the Bugle Boy Jeans TV commercial, “Excuse me, are you wearing Bugle Boy jeans?” While driving a black Ferrari in the desert.

Schofield moved to Los Angeles and appeared in 12 episodes of the hit series in 1988, playing Laurel Ellis on “Dallas,” according to IMDB.

She also appeared in Dragonado, Solar Crisis, Eye of the Widow, and in an episode of Dangerous Curves in 1992.

According to IMDB, Scofield also worked on the production teams for the films The Brothers Grimm, Doom, and City of Ember.

Away from the movie set, she made a series of posts on GoFundMe documenting her battle with cancer.

Her last post was on January 18, when she informed fans that she had undergone surgery to remove a large lump in her nasal cavity.

She said she felt “quite light-headed and weak” but was relieved to be able to breathe through her nose.

Melissa Richardson, owner of Take Two Agency, the firm that represented Schofield early in his career, led the memorial effort.

“She was no different from the sweet 17-year-old Welsh girl I first met,” she said.

“She was genuine, caring, and above all fiercely beautiful. She knew her craft. She was the best.”
