Mia Tyler went on a lengthy Instagram rant on Sunday, slamming the “cruelty” of body shaming Kelly Osbourne.

Steven Tyler’s daughter began a lengthy social media upload, telling her followers that “public grief is not public property.”

The 47-year-old pointed out that “grief can change a person” and insisted at the weekend that “your body is not up for debate”.

Mia continued, “Before you comment on someone’s body, consider that they may be carrying more weight than your opinion suggests.

“It takes real strength to be in the public eye, accept the praise of your late iconic father (Ozzy Osbourne at the 2026 BRIT Awards), and hold yourself in front of the world,” she continued.

The actress implored her haters to “show grace” to Kelly, 41, amid her father’s death in July 2025.

“Kindness costs nothing,” Mia pointed out. “Atrocity takes a toll on character. It’s disturbing how quickly people dissect a person’s appearance instead of celebrating their courage.”

“If you have the energy to comment, you also have the energy to be kind. Choose accordingly,” she concluded.

Mia captioned the post, “How hard is it not to be an Ad Ku?”

Kelly hit back at her trolls on her Instagram Stories last week, two months after claiming her massive weight loss was due to grief.

During a round of applause in February, the “Osbourne” alum highlighted a comment that compared her appearance to a “cadaver.”

She wrote, “I literally can’t believe how disgusting some people really are! No one deserves this kind of abuse!…This too shall pass, but oh my god.”

She attended the 2026 BRIT Awards five days later with her mother Sharon Osbourne to accept a lifetime achievement award on behalf of the late Black Sabbath member.

The former reality star then dealt with people who “kicked[her]when[she]was down, doubted[her]pain, spread[her]suffering as gossip, and pulled[her]back when[she]needed support and love the most.”

“There is a special kind of cruelty in hurting someone who is clearly going through something. … I will not sit here and allow myself to be dehumanized in that way!” she wrote.
