Kevin O’Leary may be starring in a movie about table tennis, but he’s playing a different sport on the SAG Actor Awards 2026 red carpet.
The investor-turned-actor accessorized his flashy suits with even flashier accessories. He wears a basketball card signed by Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant as a necklace and was one of three people to buy it for $12.9 million in August, but he told The Associated Press that the “one-of-a-kind” collector’s item is now worth a staggering $19.2 million.
“I look at this card like if I could have bought Picasso in 1962,” he added, noting that this historical investment piece “outperformed cryptocurrencies.”
If that wasn’t enough, a dazzling Tiffany chain necklace and diamond-encrusted frame added even more star power to this card. (He told reporters he didn’t know how much the custom decorations would add to the appraised value, but a similar but much smaller chain store sells for $275,000.)
“I brought this back because I wanted to bring Kobe back to Los Angeles for a great night in Los Angeles,” he added of the late sports legend. “This is the first time I’ve brought this out and I thought it would be perfect for the red carpet.”
The popular item last year set a record for the highest price ever paid for a sports card, making it the second most expensive sports collectible in history, behind Babe Ruth’s 1932 jersey.
For his red carpet debut, the “Shark Tank” star paired a “Tiffany Powered” card with an equally flashy sequin tuxedo jacket.
And he added not one but two watches with bright red bands.
Although he isn’t individually nominated tonight, “Marty Supreme” is up for several awards, including Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
He plays violent businessman Milton Rockwell in the film, and stars opposite Timothée Chalamet as the titular table tennis player.
