Gwyneth Paltrow made a spectacular appearance on the red carpet at the SAG Actor Awards 2026.
The Marty Supreme actress, 53, brought real star power to the event as she channeled the romantic goth look in a plunging black dress by Givenchy.
Made of sequined black lace, it hugged her body just past the hips, with a drop-waist silhouette that flared out with an inner crinoline below.
The sleeveless dress boasted a plunging neckline that reached her navel and a tea-length style that revealed black strappy sandals tied at the ankle with a classically feminine ribbon.
She added turquoise blue Belperron drop earrings and tied her hair in a bun.
For the first time, the red carpet theme was “Reimagining Hollywood Glamour of the 20s and 30s.” And while Paltrow may have reimagined Old Hollywood decades later, she definitely knocked it out of the park.
The actress, who stars as aging starlet Kay Stone in the Josh Safdie-directed film, will be one of the presenters at tonight’s ceremony.
Although the Goop founder himself has not been nominated for any awards, the entire ensemble is aiming for the best performance by the film’s cast.
Meanwhile, co-stars Timothée Chalamet and Odessa Azion are nominated for Best Male Actor and Best Supporting Female Actor, respectively. The latter will also receive a prize.
Shockingly, this is Paltrow’s first time attending the SAG Awards, her last appearance being in 2000, when she won both Outstanding Cast in a Motion Picture and Best Actress for her performance in Shakespeare in Love the year before.
For both appearances so far, she paired it with a simple spaghetti strap dress in a similar shade of dove gray.
In 1999, she wore a Gucci look with embellishments on the bodice, but in 2000 she opted for a simpler silhouette and wore her hair in a crimp.
Fans of Paltrow’s vintage red carpet style are in luck. She is currently auctioning off select dresses from throughout her career, including the one she wore to the Oscars.
Perhaps tonight’s look will be successful in another 20 years.
