A new documentary about Paul McCartney’s life after the Beatles is available to stream today.

Paul McCartney: Man on the Run, by Oscar-winning documentarian Morgan Neville, is currently available on Prime Video.

The film uses rare archival materials and never-before-seen footage to explore McCartney’s reinvention when he formed the band Wings with his wife Linda in the early 1970s. Since its premiere at the Telluride Film Festival in August 2025, Man on the Run has received generally positive reviews from critics.

In addition to the documentary’s premiere on February 27, an accompanying soundtrack album was released on both CD and vinyl. The soundtrack includes “deep cuts and fan favorites from McCartney’s post-Beatles career,” as well as several previously unreleased songs.
