Pink could move to New York and take over Kelly Clarkson’s show, Page Six has heard.
Sources say the “Get the Party Start” singer, who has been living on a vineyard on California’s Central Coast for the past few years, has been spending a lot of time in the city over the summer and is back on the scene.
“Yesterday, I saw her at Soho House with a guy who appeared to be part of the team,” said a Page Six spy who is a member of a private club in the Meatpacking District. “She spent several hours reading papers and documents on the computer.” (They added that she “looked beautiful” wearing a head wrap and sweating.)
It is possible that this move gave rise to questionable gossip about her marriage.
Yesterday, first People and then Us Weekly reported that the “So What” songstress and her husband of 20 years, Carey Hart, have split.
However, she denied this report in a video.
“So I was just informed that my husband and I were separated. I didn’t know,” Pink said on Instagram. “Thank you People magazine. Thank you Us Weekly.”
Hart has also been in the Big Apple in recent weeks, according to his social media.
Meanwhile, a source said Pink is moving to take over the reins recently ceded to Clarkson.
Page Six reported in January that the “American Idol” winner would be exiting the NBC talk show after seven seasons, but Clarkson confirmed the news earlier this month.
A source said of Pink and the show: “She’s guest hosting and seems to be doing great. That’s the plan.” It is unclear how far along she is in negotiations with producers.
She will appear as a guest host for a full week starting Monday.
Clarkson is scheduled to end her appearance on the show late next month.
