Rinna slammed Bravo exec Andy Cohen for publishing private text messages about her departure from RHOBH in 2023 in her memoir.
The reality TV star wrote that she was so upset by the “shady” behavior that she “gleefully” burned a copy of “The Daddy Diaries: The Years I Grew Up” in her fireplace.
Rinna and Cohen discussed the matter on Wednesday’s “Watch What Happens Live.”
After the 57-year-old host called Rinna “superfluous,” Rinna chimed in: “It was so beautiful to see your book go up in flames. Andy, I feel so honored.”
Drama βDays of Our Livesβ currently on air
Rinna recalled her time on Days of Our Lives, which filmed from 1992 to 1995, and called her co-star and on-screen lover Robert Kelker-Kelly “Hollywood’s biggest bully”.
Rinna wrote that the actor’s behavior was “frightening,” “unpredictable,” and “exhausting,” adding, “I would go so far as to call it verbal abuse. He was passive-aggressive, manipulative, and played bizarre mind games.”
“I had to work with him every day, often half-naked to perform love scenes. If I didn’t do what he wanted, he gave me the silent treatment,” she continued on “Time Bomb.”
quell gay rumors
Almost 29 years after Rinna and Hamlin were married, Rinna decided to try “one last time to clear things up once and for all.”
She told readers, “Harry is straight. He’s not gay in any way, shape or form. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.”
Rinna explained that the speculation began in 1982 when her partner appeared on Making Love as a gay character named Bert McGuire.
“Harry made a brave decision that ended up hurting his butt,” she wrote, noting that the actor was “blacklisted for several years afterwards.”
Share your mother’s survival story
Three years before Rinna was born, Rinna’s mother, Lois Rinna, survived a murder attempt by the infamous “Trailside Killer” David Carpenter in 1960. Lisa describes the harrowing story in her book.
Lois’ co-worker, Carpenter, “driven her onto a deserted road, where he stabbed her and hit her repeatedly in the head with a hammer.”
When the police officer followed the car, thinking it was strange because the engine had been turned off, Mr. Carpenter got out of the car and was shot in the abdomen.
“My mother had half her head torn off, but she opened the car door and her wallet spilled out,” Lisa wrote. βShe was so shocked that all she could do was put the items back in the bag.β
Royce was “in the hospital for three months” and Carpenter served seven years for the attack, before going back to prison for killing “at least seven more people” between 1970 and 1981.
hatred towards housewives
In her memoir, Lisa took aim at several fellow housewives.
She called Garcelle Beauvais a “fake from head to toe” and a “huge disappointment” and labeled her former friends Sutton Stracke and Denise Richards “narcissists.”
Lisa wrote, “They were the bad guys.”
Representatives for Beauvais, Stracke and Richards have not yet responded to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Daughters’ A-list suitors revealed
On Wednesday, Lisa appeared on “WWHL” and accused Tobey Maguire and Leonardo DiCaprio of trying to “beat up” her daughters Delilah Belle Hamlin and Amelia Gray Hamlin.
“[It]didn’t happen, but certainly[they]did,” Lisa confirmed to Cohen. “You know, a lot of (older men) have been picking up girls.”
She quipped that the attention from DiCaprio, 51, and Maguire, 50, was a “rite of passage.”
Check her recent drug use
Days before Lisa’s book was released, news broke that the Traitors star was suspected of being drugged at a promotional party for Season 4 of the Peacock show in January.
Lisa revealed more disturbing details during her press tour, telling viewers of “Good Day New York” on Wednesday, “No kidding, I had fentanyl, high levels of amphetamines[in my system]but I can’t really talk about that because I’m still dealing with that.”
“Luckily my husband was there so I was able to get him out of there quickly,” said the actress, who was at The Abbey, a popular spot in West Hollywood, Calif., at the time.
