Eric Dane’s ex-girlfriend Priya Jain has donated $10,000 to the late actor’s GoFundMe following his tragic death last week at the age of 53.
On Tuesday, Us Weekly confirmed that Jayne, 28, donated to a fundraiser set up by Friends of the Dane Family, with ex-wife Rebecca Gayheart listed as a beneficiary.
The current GoFundMe goal is set at $500,000, and the fundraiser has already raised $450,000 worth of donations.
Following Dane’s death, many A-Listers rallied around his family. Among them were 15-year-old Billy and 14-year-old Georgia, who lived with Mr Gayheart, 54.
Hailey Bieber donated $20,000 and “Euphoria” creator Sam Levinson donated $27,000.
Other contributions include $10,000 from director Brad Falchuk, who is married to Gwyneth Paltrow, and a matching donation from producer Randall Emmett.
Dane tragically passed away last Thursday “after a courageous battle with ALS,” his family told People in a statement.
“He spent his final days surrounded by his beloved friends, his devoted wife, and his two beautiful daughters, Billie and Georgia. They were the center of his world.”
“He will be greatly missed and will always be remembered with fondness,” the statement concluded.
Dane first revealed his ALS diagnosis 10 months earlier, in April 2025.
Meanwhile, before the “Euphoria” star’s death, he reportedly “reunited” with Jainism.
“In the months leading up to Eric’s death, Priya and Eric reconnected as friends,” a source told Us Weekly earlier this month.
The source explained that after their breakup in the summer, “it was more important for them to remain friends.”
Jayne is said to have been shocked by Dane’s death.
“Priya never thought it would happen this soon,” she continued, adding that Jayne “loves you so much” to the “Grey’s Anatomy” alum.
Calling Dane a “very special person,” the source said Jayne “has a huge love for her family” and “knows how difficult this is for her daughters.”
Jayne is said to be “very sad and devastated”, but a source said she is “grateful” that Billy and Georgia “are there to keep his memory alive”.
Dane and his ex-girlfriend broke up in June 2025 after Dane was spotted attending the Los Angeles premiere of his film Countdown, in which he co-starred with director Janel Shirtcliffe. The move reportedly left Jayne “dazzled.”
“They never broke up,” a source told Page Six at the time. According to sources, Jayne and the “Brilliant Minds” actor met in the summer of 2024 and became “exclusive” in November of the same year.
The last time they were photographed together was in May 2025.
Despite Dane having romances with both Jayne and Shirtcliff, Gayheart called off their divorce in March 2025 amid a battle with a debilitating illness.
Gayheart later explained that she made the decision to teach her daughters to be there for their families “even in the worst of times.”
She also revealed that she and Dane had not lived together for eight years.
