Mary Cosby’s “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” castmates and fellow Bravo stars have expressed their condolences to Mary Cosby following the tragic death of her son Robert Jr.
A Salt Lake City Police Department spokesperson confirmed to Page Six that Robert was found dead Monday night after officers “responded to a call of an overdose, which resulted in a death investigation.” He was 23 years old.
“RHOSLC” star Whitney Rose responded to the news Wednesday by posting an Instagram Story of heartbreak and angel wings.
Meanwhile, RHOSLC star Lisa Barlow commented on Mary’s Instagram post with multiple heart emojis, confirming the sad news of Robert’s death.
Messages of support poured in from Mary’s fellow housewives on Wednesday.
“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Crystal Kung Minkoff commented on Mary’s shocking post, “Sending her love.”
“The Real Housewives of Potomac” star Wendy Osefo wrote, “May God wrap his arms around you and your entire family. I love you.”
“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice commented with a red heart and praying hands emoji.
“RHOSLC” alum Monica Garcia wrote, “I love you, Mary.”
Many housewives also said they could not understand Mary’s death.
RHOBH star Bozoma St. John wrote, “Words can’t even begin to express my heartbreak for your sister…but I feel it deeply. I’m so sorry that you and Robert Jr. and your family are going through this. I pray that God blesses you with peace that is beyond anyone’s understanding at this time. I love you, sister.”
“Real Housewives of Miami” star Lisa Hochstein said: “I am so sorry for your loss. I can’t imagine what you are going through. I will be praying for you and your family.”
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Shamir Morton wrote, “Sending lots of love to your sister.”
Real Housewives executive producer Andy Cohen earlier responded to the sad news, writing in a thread: “Devastating sad news from SLC. This is every parent’s worst nightmare. My heart is breaking for Mary. All my love to her and Robert Sr.”
Mary said Wednesday that her son, who had battled drug problems and had run-ins with the law, was “finally at peace.”
“Our beloved son, Robert Jr., has been called to be with the Lord. Our hearts are broken, but we take comfort in God’s promises and knowing that He is finally at peace,” she wrote on social media, adding, “We are grateful for your prayers and trust in the Lord as we get through this time of grief.”
