Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr. and Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao will return to the ring for one more battle, which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
The two boxing legends are scheduled to meet in a professional bout at The Sphere in Las Vegas on September 19, 2026, with the event streamed worldwide on Netflix. Mayweather (50-0, 27 KOs) and Pacquiao (62-8-3, 39 KOs) will face off for the first time since Mayweather won by unanimous decision in 2015 in the historic “Fight of the Century.”
Pacquiao has continued to work as a professional boxer ever since, fighting eight more fights over the intervening 10 years. His most recent match was against Mario Barrios in July 2025, which ended in a majority draw. Mayweather, on the other hand, has not fought professionally since defeating mixed martial arts star Conor McGregor by TKO in 2017. Since then, however, he has fought several exhibition matches, including against Logan Paul and John Gotti III.
Details of other matches on this card will be announced at a later date. The rematch is developed and produced by Everwonder Studios, Hidden Empire Film Group and Limitless X Holdings. The event itself is being promoted by Manny Pacquiao Promotions and Mayweather Promotions in partnership with CSI Sports/Fight Sports.
“Floyd and I gave the world what will go down as the greatest fight in boxing history,” Pacquiao said. “The fans have waited long enough. This rematch is well deserved. It will be even bigger as it will be streamed live worldwide on Netflix. I want Floyd to accept this one loss on his professional record and always remember who gave it to him. As always, I dedicate this fight to my fellow Filipinos around the world and to bringing glory to the Philippines.”
Mayweather added: “I’ve already fought Manny once and won. I’m sure it will be the same this time.”
Mayweather vs. Pacquiao 1 was one of the most anticipated matchups in boxing history. The event drew a record 4.6 million pay-per-view buys and set a $72 million world record for a live gate at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
This will be the latest high-profile live fight streamed by Netflix. Most famously, the company aired the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson event, which drew 108 million live viewers worldwide. After two great performances on the Tyson vs. Paul card, Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano 3 and Canelo Alvarez vs. Terrence Crawford followed. Netflix also streamed Anthony Joshua’s six-round knockout of Paul in December. Tyson “Gypsy King” Fury will next face Arslanbek Makhmudov on April 11th.
Netflix is also getting into MMA, with Ronda Rousey scheduled to take on Gina Carano on May 16th, as both women’s MMA legends return from retirement.
