COL Group International has officially established a transcontinental distribution structure, expanding its global microdrama catalog to more than 1,700 titles, the company revealed at MIP London and London Screening 2026.
The Singapore-headquartered division was launched last year as the world’s largest specialty microdrama distribution slate and is now entering a structured second phase of international growth built around regional distribution partnerships across MENA, Europe, Latin America and Southeast Asia.
At the heart of the new architecture are three sales contracts. Narrative will oversee expansion across MENA, CIS and Africa, while Harbor Lights will be responsible for Europe and Latin America. In Southeast Asia, Rock Networks joins as the exclusive telemarketing partner for COL’s flagship app, FlareFlow, handling carrier integration and subscription rollout across the region’s telecom ecosystem.
The company’s content pipeline has grown far beyond its initial base of 1,000 English and Chinese microdrama series. This is powered by Sereal+ and FlareFlow, along with Studio 17K, which has strong titles in ByteDance-owned HonGuo. The series now exceeds 1,700 titles and includes over 700 new titles from Korea, Japan, Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and the UK.
Central to this expansion phase is an exclusive global distribution agreement with Dubai-based Bringwood, which will give COL broad access to premium microdrama content from the Middle East and India. The pipeline also takes in UK reality-driven formats including an Indian series from Pratilipi, a Korean title from BeLive Studios, and title ‘Dog Dates’ from Tattle TV, which is billed as the UK’s first dedicated microdrama app. COL said additional regional partnerships and genre developments are still in development.
The company said its distribution partners will also have access to a premium catalog in English and Chinese, curated from US and international microdrama platforms beyond FlareFlow, positioning COL as a neutral global gateway for premium vertical content.
“Microdrama is entering the next competitive chapter, where quality, maintenance and monetization standards are increasingly shaped by data and operational discipline,” said Timothy Oh, General Manager, COL Group International. “Our role is not just to deliver catalog volume, but to help our partners select, place and scale the right content for their platform and audience.”
COL Group is a Chinese listed media and entertainment company with interests in content development, production and intellectual property management. In addition to FlareFlow, we also support ReelShort, one of the pioneering platforms in the US microdrama market.
