Sometime in February…but not for Chrissy Teigen.
Ahead of the live finale of Netflix’s “Star Search” on Tuesday, Teigen, who serves as a judge on the show, walked the red carpet wearing a completely see-through dress covered in sparkling rhinestones.
The 40-year-old model’s Costes gown ($2,150), designed by Ilkaz Ozer of The New Arrivals, features a built-in bodysuit covered in decorative mesh.
Teigen’s hair was parted in the middle and flowed loosely over her shoulders in ’70s-style disco waves.
Along with fellow judges Jelly Roll, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Anthony Anderson, Teigen was joined by her husband John Legend on the red carpet, taking a decidedly casual approach in distressed jeans, a white T-shirt, and a camel-toned cardigan sweater.
Teigen told People that her new role on screen has affected her children, causing them to criticize her in their own homes.
“My three-year-old is my favorite thing in the world and just runs around saying five stars to nothing,” she revealed, adding, “The older kids are more critical. They make jokes about things like my food.”
Still, she concluded: “I think that’s what gave us power in the household. We always know what we’re talking about. So I think the kids respect me more now.”
