Olympic speed skater Jutta Lierdam has put fitness first before celebrating her record-breaking gold medal win with fiancé Jake Paul, sources exclusively tell Page Six.
The Dutch athlete broke the record in the women’s 1,000m speed skating event on Monday night in Milan-Cortina, breaking the record in 1 minute 12.31 seconds to win gold.
“After winning the medal, the first time Jutta saw Jake and his entire family, as well as Jake’s mother, was in the family lounge,” the source said.
“That’s where Jake lifted her up, as he posted on social media,” the source added.
Before heading off to celebrate with Paul and his teammates, 27-year-old Lierdam prioritized his health and took a quick bike session at the Milan Ice Park.
“She then did a bike cool-down as an active recovery session to promote lactic acid removal and reduce muscle stiffness,” the source said.
After cooling down, Lierdam reportedly went straight to Team NL House, the Olympic fan venue in the Netherlands, and soaked up the glory with fans, friends and fiancee.
“Jutta left and went to celebrate at the team NL house, and Jake stayed with her all night,” the source said.
Paul is reportedly planning to attend the Olympics “of course” to support Lilledam as they compete in the women’s 500m speed skating competition this Sunday.
Paul was seen crying tears of joy on Monday as he watched his future wife make history at the 2026 Olympics.
The boxer posted a video of the heartwarming reaction with the caption: “My baby just set an Olympic world record,” adding: “So proud of you.”
The 29-year-old influencer also shared a video in which he lifts Lilledam into his arms and kisses her, before she can be seen biting into a gold medal.
“We just witnessed one of the most important sporting moments ever. Doctors will tell. Words can’t express how proud I am of you. @juttaleerdam,” he captioned the post.
Paul and Lierdam announced their engagement on March 22, 2025 in an Instagram post.
“Can’t wait to spend forever together,” they captioned their joint post.
Rumors that the two were dating began flying around in early 2023, and they officially confirmed their relationship on Instagram in April of the same year.
“I’m Dutch now,” Paul joked at the time.
