Kendall Jenner looked uncomfortable when she had to watch ex-boyfriend Bad Bunny perform an incredible halftime show at Super Bowl LX.
On Sunday night, footage of the supermodel attending the rapper’s mini-concert from a VIP suite at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, showed her dancing awkwardly on the spot with fellow supermodel Hailey Bieber holding her hand.
Jenner, 30, and Bieber, 29, similarly swayed their hips ever so slightly.
The women did not laugh or sing together. Instead, Jenner, wearing a black crop top and jeans, stared straight ahead, while Bieber, wearing jeans and a white fur puffer, stared at his friend.
The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star arrived for a big match with rapper 21 Savage, but the nature of their relationship is unclear.
Jenner and Bad Bunny, 31, were first linked in February 2023 when Bieber and her pop superstar husband Justin Bieber were spotted on what appeared to be a double date.
Six months later, the new couple was caught making out at a Drake concert. But before the end of the year, the two had already parted ways.
“Kendall and Bad Bunny have been doing their own thing lately, and things were slowly starting to stall between them,” a source told Entertainment Tonight at the time.
“They both knew this relationship wasn’t going to last forever and that’s something they both understood from the beginning,” the source continued.
“They have very busy schedules, but they know they are still young and have a lot more to experience personally before settling down.”
However, their romance was not over yet.
In May 2024, a source told Page Six that the two looked cozy and cuddly at a Met Gala afterparty. “They were at the same table, laughing and making out. She was patting him on the head.”
Later that month, the pair were photographed sneaking out of a Miami hotel after a dinner date, further fueling rumors that they were getting back together.
By June of that year, the pair made no secret that they were back together, attending Vogue World: Paris in matching outfits.
However, the reunification did not last long. Us Weekly reported in September 2024 that the brunette beauty and the musician had gone their separate ways once again.
“They’re still friendly, but they haven’t taken a step back and started dating,” a source told the outlet at the time, noting that while they “got more serious after a short break,” “ultimately it didn’t work out long-term.”
As for Bad Bunny, the six-time Grammy winner wowed the crowd Sunday night with fan favorites like “Tity Me Pregunto,” “Yo Pereo Sola” and “DtMF,” while Cardi B, Jessica Alba, Karol G, Pedro Pascal, Alix Earle and Young Miko danced around him.
The electric and emotional performance paid homage to all aspects of Puerto Rico’s rich culture: dance, food, family interests, agriculture, occupations, games, and even the lasting impact of Hurricane Maria.
Lady Gaga, who gave a surprise performance of Bruno Mars’ “Die with a Smile,” also wore the true blue of Puerto Rico’s flag, which represents the fight for freedom and independence. She also wore the Flor de Maga, the official national flower of the U.S. territory.
Fellow Puerto Rican Ricky Martin was also a surprise guest, singing “Lo Que Paso a Hawaii.”
