Salish and Jordan Matter, the father-daughter duo known for posting videos of their weekly adventures on YouTube, have signed an exclusive deal with Netflix.
At the streamer, Salish and Jordan will continue to develop existing series as well as develop new scripted, unscripted and animated projects starring the 16-year-old Salish, with new content expected to debut this spring. The Matters will also partner with Netflix on consumer products and experiential services. Additionally, an archive of content will be available on Netflix later this year.
The Matters’ videos often feature various challenges, such as being trapped in the wilderness or the “world’s smallest car” for 24 hours, and celebrity guests such as Mr. Beast, Paris Hilton and Khloe Kardashian. In 2025, Salish won the Kids’ Choice Award for Female Creator of the Year and partnered with Sephora to launch the skincare brand Sincerely Yours. Jordan is a photographer who has published two New York Times bestselling photo books, and his and Salish’s content creation career began when he began including preteen Salish in his photo vlogs. Salish and Jordan’s YouTube channel has 34.1 million subscribers and 13.3 billion views to date.
“There are so many shows I love on Netflix that I can’t believe I’ll be able to watch one of them soon,” Salish said in a statement. “This is a very exciting opportunity and I can’t wait to start filming!”
Netflix is ”unmatched in scale, vision and global reach, and this partnership allows us to expand the storytelling our audiences already love into new formats while staying true to the creative world we’ve built,” Jordan said.
“At Netflix, we are committed to working with the world’s best creators, and Salish and Jordan Matter are unique creators with massive fandoms and vibrant, high-energy storytelling styles that kids and family audiences will instantly love,” said John Derderian, vice president of children’s and family animated series at Netflix. “This is a perfect complement to our programming and we are thrilled that they have chosen Netflix as their creative home. We look forward to nurturing their vision and bringing their exciting new projects to life.”
