Victoria Beckham reportedly “feels betrayed” by her son Brooklyn’s shocking accusations against her and husband David.
“Victoria feels betrayed because[Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz]have done everything they can to make her feel welcome and love Nicola like another daughter,” a source told the Mirror in a report published on Saturday.
Victoria has also worked hard to protect Brooklyn from stories from her past that “didn’t always paint her in the best light,” the source added.
“But she feels it’s been thrown back in her face. She would normally do anything to avoid family discord, but she considers both to be unreasonable.”
Representatives for David and Victoria did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Earlier this week, Brooklyn, 26, shocked the internet when she uploaded a bombshell to her Instagram Story about an ongoing family feud, telling her followers that she “doesn’t want to reconcile with my family.”
He accused his parents of trying to “ruin” his relationship with Peltz, 31, “even before their wedding” in April 2022, citing a list of reasons why he wants to remain estranged.
“In the weeks before our big day, my parents repeatedly tried to pressure and bribe me to take away the rights to my name, which would affect me, my wife, and our future children,” Brooklyn claimed.
“They were adamant that I sign before the wedding date, so the contract would start. Even though my resistance affected my payday, they have never treated me the same way since.”
Tensions eventually reached a boiling point just before the wedding, with Victoria, 51, reportedly “not being able to stand” Peltz for a while and “cancelling Nicola’s dress making at the 11th hour.”
Things got even worse during the wedding when Victoria allegedly “hijacked” the newlyweds’ first dance and continued to dance “highly inappropriately” to their son, making him “uncomfortable” and “humiliated.”
Victoria and David, 50, have not publicly commented on their son’s bombshell.
But Victoria is said to be “completely heartbroken” by her son’s request for privacy for him and Nicola’s “future family”.
The Mirror reports that the line was intended to poke fun at the former Spice Girl, who told Vogue in 2024 that she was “thrilled” to potentially become a grandmother in the future.
