Two new guests check in to Season 4 of ‘The White Lotus’. Variety reports that Steve Coogan and Caleb Jonte Edwards have both been cast in the upcoming season of the hit HBO series.
As with “The White Lotus,” the exact characters and plot details are being kept secret. The two new additions join previously announced cast members Alexander Ludwig and AJ Michalka. There has been speculation that other actors will be joining the show, but these are the only confirmed cast members at this time.
As previously reported, season 4 will take place in France, including Paris and multiple locations along the Cote d’Azur. Series mastermind Mike White will write, direct, and executive produce. David Barnado and Mark Kamin will also serve as executive producers.
This role would be Edwards’ first on-screen credit. Prior to that, his only credited television appearance was in an episode of the Australian crime drama ‘Black Snow’.
Coogan is a very good comedian and actor. He is known for several projects in which he played Alan Partridge, most recently appearing in BBC One’s 2025’s How Are You? It’s Alan (Partridge). In film, Coogan is known for appearing in films such as the “Night at the Museum” series and the films “Despicable Me,” “Philomena,” and “Tropic Thunder.” In addition to starring in Philomena, he co-wrote the screenplay and was nominated for Academy Awards for Best Original Screenplay and Best Picture. He and Rob Brydon have also aired multiple installments of the successful The Trip series, with the fifth installment, Journey to the Northern Lights, due in summer 2025.
Coogan is repped by CAA and Independent Talent Group. Edwards is repped by Echo Lake Entertainment and Eaton Management.
