Variety magazine reported that Alan Cumming has signed a contract with UTA to represent him in all fields. He will continue to be represented by British Bond artists and B-Side.
Cumming has enjoyed a successful career spanning more than 40 years, most notably in recent years as host of the U.S. version of the popular reality competition show “The Traitors.” The show has already been renewed for a fifth season on Peacock, and an all-civilian season, hosted by Cumming, will air on NBC.
Cumming has won two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Reality or Reality Competition Program Host, and the show has won two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Reality Competition Program, out of a total of eight Emmy Awards to date.
As an actor, Cumming is known for his roles in films such as Spy Kids, X2: X-Men United, GoldenEye, Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion, and Glenlorthan. On television, she is known for her roles on shows such as “The High Life,” “The Good Wife,” “Sex and the City,” “Broad City,” “Doctor Who,” and “Schmigadoon.”
On stage, Cumming played roles in “Hamlet,” “Cabaret,” and “Macbeth,” and also hosted the Tony Awards. He was recently appointed Artistic Director of Pitlochry Festival Theater in his native Scotland.
In addition to his Emmy win, Cumming has won two Tony Awards, a BAFTA, an Olivier Award, an Independent Spirit Award, and many other awards. He received multiple Golden Globe and Emmy nominations for his role as Eli Gold in The Good Wife. To date, he has written seven books, including the memoir “Not My Father’s Son.”
