Candy Spelling has been compared to influencer Trisha Paytas in her dramatically age-defying new magazine cover photo.
The “Selling Spelling Manor” star, 80, was photographed on the cover of Westlake Malibu Lifestyle magazine’s February/March 2026 issue in a glowing portrait that appears to have been edited.
In the photo, the widow of the late Aaron Spelling struck a thoughtful pose, wearing a white blouse with a large floral embellishment on the left shoulder.
She styled her blonde hair in loose, feathery curls and rocked an elegant makeup palette that included bright red nail polish.
The cover promoted the mother-of-two’s “three fascinating chapters in life” and immediately drew comparisons to much younger Hollywood celebrities.
“Candy in the room with us? Looks like @trishapaytas,” one person wrote, referring to the 37-year-old.
“I thought this was Potomac’s gorgeous queen @gizellebryant,” another said, adding, “Khloe Kardashian looks amazing,” joking.
Another person countered: “I thought it was Rihanna at first.”
Others were taken aback by the clearly heavily edited image, with one exclaiming: “What the heck is going on?”
“Totally untouched photo :)),” wrote another.
Still, some people praised the photo. One person noted her “commanding presence,” while another praised her “excessive style.”
One social media user gushed: “So beautiful😍🤩👌.” A representative for Spelling Co. did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Candy, the mother of “Beverly Hills, 90210” alums Tori Spelling, 52, and Randy Spelling, 47, recalled her legendary TV producer husband and his talents in a wide-ranging interview with the magazine.
“My husband was a genius at bringing viewers television shows that have become part of American culture,” she said. “There was “Charlie’s Angels,” “Dynasty,” and “Beverly Hills 90210.”
Candy said Aaron, who died in 2006 at the age of 83, “didn’t necessarily win a lot of Emmys” but had the talent to create must-see series.
“He used to say to me, ‘I know how to please the eye,'” she adds with a laugh. “I’m not kidding!”
