Ashley Tisdale enjoyed a day of self-care more than a week after causing a stir by exposing her “toxic” mom friend group.
On Tuesday, the “High School Musical” actress shared on her Instagram Stories that she enjoyed “a quick massage and facial day” during the drama.
In one post, Tisdale shared an image of four singing bowls commonly used in meditation practices. In another snap, the mother-of-two showed the sun shining through her linen curtains.
“Little massage and facial day,” she captioned her Stories post.
The 40-year-old “Suite Life of Zack and Cody” alum posted a selfie of herself sunbathing, apparently after a massage and facial.
“Unreal! Thank you @sarachase for the best treat,” she wrote above the selfie.
Tisdale’s relaxing day comes after she penned a scathing essay for The Cut exposing her “toxic” mom friend group, which includes Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore, Meghan Trainor and more.
In the essay, the actress reflected on why she didn’t feel “cool enough” after being excluded from a get-together with members of her mom group.
“We realized that there were group text chains that didn’t include everyone, which led to the formation of cliques within larger groups,” she claimed.
“And after seeing social media photos of other members joining hangouts they weren’t invited to for the third or fourth time, I felt like I wasn’t really part of the group after all.”
She added, “At that point I had to ask myself, ‘Why am I still participating in this event?'”
Some of the women in the group and their partners have reacted subtly to Tisdale’s shadow, including Duff’s husband Matthew Koma, who called Tisdale “the most self-centered tone-deaf person on the planet.”
Clothing designer Sammy Ryan, a member of the mom group, appeared to respond to Tisdale’s questionable essay by reposting a video of a man mouthing the lyrics to Megan Thee Stallion’s 2022 hit “Her.”
“I don’t care if these girls don’t like me ’cause I’m pretty as fuck,” Megan raps in the song. “Just the other day I heard a hoe say / What could a hoe say, really? / What would a hoe say to a bitch with a face like this when he got paid for this?”
“Feeling like 2026,” Ryan wrote above the clip.
Moore, 41, also made a cryptic comment about the show, saying she “had to grieve in a way” that some of her friendships had “changed.”
