Northwest is doubling down. literally.
After her finger piercing was criticized as ‘dangerous’, a 12-year-old girl has taken to social media to show off her second piercing right next to it.
On Tuesday afternoon, West shared a photo to his Instagram Stories of himself pumping his fist at the camera. Both her middle and index fingers had double ball finger piercings.
Less than 15 minutes later, she dropped a beat titled “Hardstyle Outro with Pierced Hands,” although no words were sung.
Back in September, West’s mother Kim Kardashian came under fire after he was spotted with a skin piercing.
“Who the fuck lets a 12 year old get piercings? Who the fuck lets a 12 year old get piercings? Mine was 12 and didn’t even have her ears pierced,” one Reddit user shared, with others echoing the sentiment.
And while Kardashian didn’t specifically mention the piercings, she did discuss West’s controversial fashion choices on Call Her Daddy, lamenting, “It’s so hard and so interesting because all my kids are wearing the same thing,” adding, “But when my daughter tried to wear it, I was like, ‘Okay, I’m never going to wear it again.'” Unfortunately, we made that mistake in front of the whole world. ”
Months later, the teen herself fired back, sharing a TikTok with the caption, “This is for everyone who’s upset about finger piercings.”
Despite the response to her Christmas post showing off her new diamond “shark grill,” the earrings appear to have disappeared for good.
Of course, it’s also possible that West didn’t actually get his hands pierced and was just experimenting with the look with a temporary accessory. In the end, it turned out that the piercing on the bridge of her nose was a sticker.
North has been experimenting with her appearance for years, including getting a fake nose ring when she was six years old. She will forever remain a style star.
