Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, who have been friends for 45 years, have revealed what they dislike most about each other.
“Well,[he’s]not very good at cleaning around the house,” Affleck, 53, said of Damon, 55, on Tuesday’s episode of the “Today” show.
To this, his friend clearly protested, “Hey![That was]when I was young.”
“Well, that’s all I have to decide,” the “accountant” director replied, before jokingly saying, “I mean, you could ask your wife and see if things have improved.”
Damon later revealed that he was not a fan of Affleck’s tardiness and applauded his frequent collaborator.
“We arrived here this morning and Ben was three minutes early. He got here earlier than me. It’s the first time in 45 years that he wasn’t late,” he shared.
“Oh my god, that’s a complete fabrication. I work hard. I do other things,” Affleck countered.
The confession comes shortly after Damon revealed that his wife Luciana Barroso had a crush on her husband’s best friend before marrying the Bourne Ultimatum star.
“I met my girlfriend, my best friend from high school, and it turned out we went to see ‘Good Will Hunting,'” Damon recalled on Monday’s episode of “The Howard Stern Show.”
“Her best friend thought I was a cute girl,” he admitted. “And[Barroso]thought Ben was a cute kid.”
After his partner’s confession, Damon told her, “You picked the wrong one.”
Barroso also co-starred with Damon and Affleck in their film The Rip, with Damon praising his wife as “a great producer and a really good friend.”
