According to reports, Kiefer Sutherland was arrested following an incident in Los Angeles on Monday, January 1st.
Sutherland, 59, was arrested just after midnight after officers were called to the area near Sunset Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue in Hollywood. Authorities arrested Sutherland after he allegedly assaulted a rideshare driver, NBC Los Angeles reported.
The Young Guns actor is accused of physically assaulting the driver and making criminal threats, KTLA reported, citing authorities.
The star of “A Few Good Men” has been arrested on suspicion of felony menacing, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to NBC. The report said neither man suffered any injuries that required further treatment.

Sutherland was arrested and booked into jail at the time of the incident, and was released on $50,000 bail on Monday, according to jail records reviewed by PEOPLE. He is next scheduled to appear in Los Angeles County Superior Court on February 2, according to arrest records.
