Britney Spears shared a cryptic post about “suffering” and “darkness” amid growing concerns about her health.
Late Saturday night, the “Toxic” songstress took to Instagram to share a video of herself dancing to Adele’s “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)” in a leopard-print bodysuit and black heels.
“Can’t find this year’s party dress π… Looking back is good for the soul… Sometimes when hard things happen, good things come from them and we learn,” she captioned the post.
“I’ve learned that true expression with emotion speaks for how we all feel!! Call it childish, call it stupid, call it annoying… We grow up and become women, but do we have the courage to hold on to the most sensitive parts of our souls and allow them to rebel… The inner child must speak when it’s most vulnerable,” Spears, 43, wrote.
“Grief and darkness survive to make sense of the loss and hurt and pain…Sometimes through suffering, ugliness and sacrifice, something so rare and beautiful can emerge and be shared that it can touch others and make them understand that they are not alone…Yet, the woman in me will make sure I find my destination.”
The “Crossroads” actress ended her long caption by switching gears and talking about how much food she ate during Thanksgiving.
“P.S. I won’t even see food after this Thanksgiving… It felt so bad to be cheated on… but it felt so good… Dad, please forgive me,” she wrote.
Spears’ latest dance video was released nearly two weeks after she was seen leaving a wine bar with a champagne flute in hand, getting into a car and speeding away.
At the time, the “Gimme More” hitmaker’s team insisted to the Daily Mail that the pop star did not drink any alcohol during the unusual outing.
After the photo went viral, Spears took to Instagram to slam the paparazzi, calling them “incredibly mean” and saying they always take the “worst pictures” of her.
The Grammy Award winner also said that she “can’t go anywhere” without being harassed. βItβs very uncomfortable,β she added.
In September, Page Six exclusively reported that Spears was refusing help from people as concerns about her mental health and living situation continued to grow.
“She has staff, security guards, assistants, but no real friends,” a source told Us.
A source said Spears has “some moments of clarity and others that feel like a roller coaster,” but is “still the sweetest, kindest person.”
He added, “We’re always worried about Britney and her health and making sure she’s OK. The question is, ‘How do we help her?'”
Friends of the “Oops! I Did It Again” singer are also reportedly worried that Spears lives in a “filthy mansion” full of dog poop.
“Her house is a mess. She doesn’t clean up after the dog, she doesn’t have anyone to clean it every day, and she doesn’t function like an adult,” a source told the Daily Mail.
In November 2021, Spears was famously released from a 13-year legal conservatorship.
