Everyone seems to be Team Conrad.
Sean Kaufman and Christopher Blaney shared an unexpected kiss at a New York Knicks game on Friday.
The “Summer I Turned Pretty” co-stars were spotted using PDA while watching the NBA team’s home game against the Milwaukee Bucks at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
As cameras at the venue showed them, Kaufman stood up, turned to Blainey, grabbed her face and kissed her on the lips.
After the argument, Briney burst out laughing.
The Knicks’ official Instagram account shared a video of the lip lock while writing in the caption, “Belly, you’ve got some competition 😍.”
“Everybody’s Team Conrad,” they added at the top of the clip, referencing the Netflix series’ famous love triangle of Berry (Laura Tung), Jeremiah (Gavin Casaleño) and Conrad (Bryney). Kaufman plays Berry’s older brother, Stephen.
Other celebrities who attended the match included Ray Romano, Jordyn Woods, and Spike Lee.
After the series finale of “Summer Became Beautiful” aired in September, Amazon Prime announced that the cast would be returning to the movie.
Details about the plot have not yet been announced, but the show will be directed by Jenny Han, the author of “The Summer I Made”, who wrote the trilogy of books on which the show is based.
“There remains another major milestone in Berry’s journey, and I felt that only a movie could give it the value it deserves,” she said in a statement at the time. “I’m so grateful to Prime Video for continuing to support my vision for this story and allowing me to share this final chapter with my fans.”
“A Beautiful Summer” aired on Amazon Prime for three seasons. In addition to Tan, Blaney, Kaufman, and Casaleño, the show also starred Lane Spencer (Taylor), Jackie Chan (Laurel), Tom Everett Scott (Adam), and Rachel Blanchard (Susannah).
