Pusha T and his wife Virginia Williams are expecting their second child, a boy.
Williams announced her pregnancy in an Instagram post on Friday, November 14th. In the photo, she is smiling while showing off her pregnant belly in a chic black and white maternity look. “Second masterpiece in the works…🥹 God is good,” she captioned the post.
At the gallery where her work is on display, she wore a long-sleeved black top with an asymmetrical hem and black and white flared pants. The couple’s son, Nigel Brix-Thornton, 5, hugged his mother in front of the exhibition titled ‘Hancock Avenue’.
“I named this body of work Hancock Avenue after the street where I grew up in Norfolk, Virginia,” Williams’ artist statement begins.
“This piece is filled with some of my most vivid and fond memories. Our home was filled with noise, laughter, lots of jazz, routine, and love…I grew up in a family of five in a one-bathroom home, which meant everyone’s beauty habits (or lack thereof) were on display,” her artist statement for the hand-painted ceramic piece continued.
“After applying Murray’s pomade, I watched my father diligently comb his hair. Meanwhile, my mother and I were holding court in the kitchen. There was a hot comb on the stove and Luster’s pink lotion nearby… “Beauty is complex and layered with memory, tradition, lots of innovation, and resilience. It lives on in the kitchen, the barbershop, and the beauty salon. My work is a love letter to the complexity of black beauty,” the statement concluded.
Pusha T, whose real name is Terrence Thornton, also confirmed that he is expecting a baby boy, sharing a series of photos from his wife’s gallery exhibition announcing her pregnancy.
“All things considered…❤️💙💙💙,” the “So Be It” rapper began his Instagram caption.
“Nigel, if you ask, you will receive it…but this time it was mom who made it happen. She prayed day and night and fought disappointments, but she never gave up on your wishes. You owe her a lot!! New responsibilities, new standards, and new expectations all come with being a big brother…I hope you’re ready,” he continued, adding that Nigel:
“Share toys, teach gifts, and love the new best friend mommy has given you.”
Citing his own experience with having a sibling, he wrote: “You’ll love it, look at Daddy and Uncle Mookie… what could be better than that? 😎.”

“Thank you @babyginny for my second boy… I hope you keep up the tradition and never teach me how to change diapers, prepare meals, suck snot, or any other super mom thing. You make things so easy for me and I love you and appreciate you all. See you in spring 2026, my son…💙,” she concluded the caption.
The two married in 2018 after dating for 11 years. The two first met at an album release show in their mutual hometown of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
