Susan Boyle made a rare red carpet appearance in London and shocked her fans with a new move.
The 64-year-old Scottish singer appeared with a blonde bob and blunt bangs as she attended the Pride of Britain Awards ceremony held at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Monday.
Boyle’s stick-straight lighter hair marked a big change from the curly black hair fans are used to seeing on her.
The Britain’s Got Talent star was all smiles as she posed for photos in a glamorous fur shawl and black and white long-sleeved dress. She accessorized with a pearl necklace, bracelet, and black clutch.
Boyle shared a photo of herself having fun at the event and said it was a “great night”. She also spent time with British game show host Anne Hegarty.
“It was such an honor to celebrate so many people who have truly inspired me,” Boyle captioned a photo of herself on Instagram. “Everyone looked absolutely amazing and it was great to see some familiar faces, including the amazing Anne Hegarty (I’m a huge fan of The Chase)!”
Fans supported her new look in the comments section.

One fan was surprised: “Are you kidding? She’s glowing 😍❤️🙌.”
Boyle shot to fame in 2009 when she competed on Britain’s Got Talent and sang “I Dreamed a Dream” from “Les Misérables.”
Although she ultimately did not win and was runner-up in the show’s third season, her debut album, “I Dreamed a Dream,” became the best-selling international album of that year.
Boyle will re-enter the singing contest in June 2023, performing the song made famous by the West End cast of Les Misérables, and also revealing that she suffered a stroke a year ago that left her unable to speak or sing.
“Tonight was even more special for me because I suffered a stroke in April of 2022,” she wrote on Instagram after her performance. “Over the past year, I have worked hard to get back to speaking and singing with the sole goal of being able to sing on stage again. And tonight, my hard work and perseverance paid off as I sang the song that started it all, ‘I Dreamed A Dream.’
