Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas have reportedly broken up after less than a year of dating.
A source told The Sun that the pair no longer felt a “spark” and realized they were better off as friends.
“There were sparks between them, but they still love each other’s company and are both very mature about it,” the source said.
Mr. Cruz, 63, and Mr. de Armas, 37, reportedly remain on friendly terms.
“Tom and Anna had a lot of fun together, but their time as a couple has come to an end,” a source said. “They remain good friends but are no longer dating.”
“They realized they weren’t going to go far and were better off staying together,” the source continued.
Representatives for Mr. Cruz and Mr. de Armas did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
The “Top Gun” star and the “Ballerina” actress first sparked dating rumors in February when they were spotted having dinner in London.
The pair have since been spotted on multiple romantic outings together, including enjoying a boat ride during a private holiday in Spain in July.
Later that month, they weren’t afraid to come together in public, as they attended an Oasis concert at London’s Wembley Stadium.
In an Instagram video by British producer and DJ Goldie, the pair were captured dancing to Oasis, with Cruise even reaching for De Armas’ hand.
The two have kept their romance private, but confirmed they were together in late July when they were photographed holding hands in Vermont.
During an appearance on Good Morning America in May, de Armas gushed about his “fun” relationship with Cruise and shared that they were working together on “several projects.”
Cruise was previously married to Mimi Rogers from 1987 to 1990, Nicole Kidman from 1990 to 2001, and Katie Holmes from 2006 to 2012.
The Cuban actress is no stranger to high-profile romances, having been married to Spanish actor and model Marc Clotet from 2011 to 2013.
She dated Ben Affleck from 2019 to 2021, and in 2024, she was reported to be dating Manuel Anido Cuesta, the stepson of Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermudez.
