Kim Kardashian claims ex-husband Kanye West hasn’t called his kids in “months”.
The reality TV star made the revelation while appearing as a guest on Wednesday’s episode of the podcast “Call Her Daddy.” At one point, host Alex Cooper asked Kardashian about the last time West saw his children: daughters North, 12, and Chicago, 7, and sons Saint, 9, and Psalm, 6.
“Well, whenever he calls and asks,” Kardashian, 44, replied. “It’s probably been a few months since you heard from him?”
Cooper wondered how the reality star-turned-billionaire beauty mogul would explain the moment and how she would take the disappointment to her children.
According to Kardashian, she and her children “get along really well,” especially since they “always knew that[West]used to travel a lot and was always on tour and always living in different countries.”
She explained that her “job” as a mother is to make sure her children are “healthy and happy” and “stick to a routine.”
Kardashian said she was “raising my kids full-time” and reiterated several times that her co-parenting situation with the controversial rapper-turned-fashion designer was “not easy.”
She also confessed that she is jealous of her sister Khloe Kardashian’s “really healthy” co-parenting with NBA star Tristan Thompson, saying, “I put them to bed every night and I take them to school every day outside of season.”
Kardashian insisted that despite her difficulties navigating West’s relationship with her children, which has become increasingly volatile in recent years, she has “never” separated them.
“I’m always going to take them to see their father whenever he asks. That’s who I am,” she told Cooper, adding that she even takes them to Saudi Arabia, Italy and Japan “whenever he asks.”
But, she said, “If I have a really bad time, I say, ‘Hey, let’s do this at home,’ or ‘Let’s figure out another time.'” But at times like that, I don’t really want to see my children. So even if he has difficulties, it always works out because he doesn’t. ”
Kardashian explained why she doesn’t publicly refute the “narrative” that she’s denying her ex-girlfriend’s parenting time, saying she’s “just not the kind of girl who would fight back online.”
But her situation is “really bad,” so it’s certainly getting closer.
But no matter what West, 48, says about her in public, his ex-wife insisted she would “never say anything negative” about him because he is already “out there.”
She emphasized, “The last thing I want is for my kids to hear that from me.”
A representative for West did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
