Alec Baldwin crashed his car into a tree in the Hamptons on Monday afternoon.
In photos obtained exclusively by Page Six, the bonnet of the actor’s white Range Rover appears to have been severely damaged by a large tree. Baldwin, 67, was accompanied by his younger brother, Stephen Baldwin.
The actor spoke with officers at the scene, but did not appear to be injured.
Baldwin, wearing a gray polo shirt and pants, stood next to his damaged car and made a call on his cell phone. At one point, the father of eight children had his hands in his pockets and a gloomy expression on his face.
Representatives for Baldwin and the Easthampton Police Department did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Baldwin was reportedly in the area for the Hamptons International Film Festival, which opened on October 5th. The closing date was Sunday, October 13th.
The actor serves as co-chair of the board’s executive committee.
“He has been out all week, attending movies and moderating panel discussions,” a source told Page Six.
The actor later addressed the accident on Instagram, revealing that it was actually his wife Hilaria Baldwin’s car that was struck by a giant garbage truck.
Baldwin took Saturday off from the Hamptons Film Festival to attend the Buffalo Film Festival and shared a video of himself having dinner in Buffalo, New York.
He seemed to be in a good mood, praising the Asian fusion food he had eaten.
Baldwin was photographed at the Hampton Film Festival on Friday and appeared to be attending the Buffalo Film Festival on Saturday. He and Stephen were photographed returning to the Hamptons Film Festival on Sunday.
Baldwin’s wife, Hilaria Baldwin, was recently spotted without her wedding ring and denied rumors of marital discord. After hugging a toy version of her husband’s “Beetlejuice” character, she stuck out her tongue and told fans not to worry.
“Don’t worry, Cammy, leave the stand here while Alec goes to work 😂,” Hilaria captioned the playful video.
“And (my) ring is here,” she clarified. “But the crazy stuff we do hurts so I won’t wear it to practice 🤣.”
Alec also showed his support for Hilaria, 41, who was shockingly eliminated from Dancing with the Stars.
“Hilaria, I want to say I love you and I’m proud of you,” Alec said in an Instagram video. “It’s great that your family can support you the way you support us every day. This is such a big part of your life and this is a dream come true for you.”
“So congratulations and never stop dancing,” he added. “Never stop dancing, Hilaria. I love you so much.”
Alec and Hilaria have seven children: Carmen, 11 years old, Rafael, 10 years old, Leonardo, 8 years old, Romeo, 7 years old, Eduardo, 4 years old, Maria Lucia, 4 years old, and Ilaria, 2 years old. He also has a daughter, Ireland Baldwin, 29, with ex Kim Basinger.
