Duchess Meghan marked International Day of the Girl Girl with a tribute to her four-year-old daughter Princess Lilibet.
“To all the girls, this world is yours,” Markle posted on Instagram on Saturday. “Let’s do everything we can to protect our rights, speak up and support each other. We will do the same for you. It’s your right and it’s our responsibility.”
“Let’s go get the girls! 🏃♀️Happy International Day of the Girl,” the 44-year-old added.
The Duchess of Sussex, who also has son Prince Archie, 6, with husband Prince Harry, 41, posted rare images and videos of Lili with the caption:
In the image, Markle wore a white button-down and matching pants and held Lili’s hand. They could be seen staring at the stream.
Lili, on the other hand, wore an all-pink ensemble and matching handbag. She also wore her red hair in a messy ponytail.
In the video, Lili ran through her family’s backyard.
Markle reposted the visual on her Instagram Stories with the caption: “Happy International Day of the Girl.”
The new upload comes after she and Harry made a joint appearance at the Project Healthy Minds Gala in New York City on Thursday, where they sported coordinating black suits.
Markle wore a plunging Armani blazer with matching slacks and accessorized with a heavy gold chain necklace. Her husband wore a black suit and tie and a white button-down shirt.
At one point, the Duke of Sussex playfully grabbed the “Suits” alum’s butt on the red carpet. The two were also photographed holding hands, with Markle looking lovingly at Harry.
The longtime mental health champions received the Humanitarian Award for their work to make the online world safer for families and young people through the Archewell Foundation.
The couple released a statement ahead of their attendance at the gala. “As parents ourselves, we are moved by the power of their stories to take action, and we are honored to support them,” they said.
“We are proud to be a long-time partner of Project Healthy Minds. Together, we are shining a light on one of the most pressing issues of our time.”
