“On Patrol: Live” host and executive producer Dan Abrams promises “some surprises for viewers” this weekend to celebrate the show’s 300th episode on Reelz. “We may even go on a little field trip in the coming weeks to celebrate the milestone. We’ll keep you posted on that,” he added.

“On Patrol: Live” airs live Fridays and Saturdays from 9 p.m. to midnight ET and uses more than 50 live cameras to follow police officers responding to police and sheriff’s calls across the country. To commemorate the 300th episode milestone, the show promises to air a segment this weekend highlighting its “most memorable and intense moments, from the shocking and dramatic to the bizarre and sometimes humorous.”

“This show has become more than just a job for me,” Abrams said. “Yes, it’s a really fun series. But I also think it’s really important to provide a window into what police officers do and see on a daily basis across America. This show is the only show in the country that regularly gives viewers a look at what it’s really like to be on patrol at night.”

Abrams will anchor the series alongside an in-studio team of analysts, including Lt. Tom Rizzo (Howell Township Police Department, New Jersey), Deputy Sheriff Curtis Wilson (Richland County Sheriff’s Department, South Carolina), and Sergeant Curtis Wilson. Sean “Stix” Larkin (retired from the Tulsa, Oklahoma Police Department).

According to the show, they have worked with 36 police departments and sheriff’s offices across the country, helped find 46 missing people in the show’s weekly “Missing” segment, and helped track down 82 fugitives in the show’s “BOLO” segment.

“Our audience, OP Nation, is the absolute backbone of the show, and their passion and support for the series is what allowed us to reach episode 300,” Abrams added. “Perhaps more importantly, we were able to revitalize that community and help rescue dozens of missing persons and track down over 80 fugitives. That’s something I’m really proud to be a part of.”

Currently, “On Patrol: Live” partners include the Baton Rouge Police Department (Louisiana); Christian County Sheriff’s Office (Missouri). Clayton County Sheriff’s Office (Georgia). Daytona Beach Police Department (Florida). Knox County Sheriff’s Office (Tennessee); Lee County Sheriff’s Office (Florida). Richland County Sheriff’s Department (SC) and Wheeling Police Department (WV).

Reelz has seen a surge in viewership since “On Patrol: Live” launched in July 2022. Earlier this year, the cable company renewed “On Patrol: Live” and its spinoff “On Patrol: First Shift” through early 2026.

“On Patrol: Live” is produced by Big Fish Entertainment, an Amazon company. Prior to “On Patrol: Live,” Abrams and Big Fish produced “Live PD” for A&E, which was canceled in summer 2020. A+E Networks filed a lawsuit seeking an injunction, calling “On Patrol: Live” a copy of “Live PD,” but the two sides settled in November and “On Patrol: Live” has been allowed to continue on Reelz, where it has now reached its 300-episode mark.

Below is a video package prepared by “On Patrol: Live” looking back at the first 300 episodes of the show.
