Christine Dolan has signed on to lead AMC Networks as CEO for at least three more years.
The media company announced that it has signed a new employment contract with Mr. Dolan, effective from October 9, 2025 to December 31, 2028. Her minimum annual base salary will be $2 million until April 1, 2026, after which it will increase to $2.1 million. Dolan’s new contract also provides the opportunity for an annual target bonus equal to at least three times the actual salary paid in the applicable year.
In addition, Dolan will continue to receive cash and/or stock awards annually. In 2026 (and the next two years), Dolan is expected to receive such grants with a total annual goal of more than $8 million. She will also receive a one-time special cash performance award with a target value of $3 million and will be paid a one-time signing bonus of $150,000 in cash, according to a document AMC Networks filed with the SEC on Friday.

According to the company, Christine Dolan has accelerated AMC Networks’ transformation from a network-based cable programmer to one that delivers content across an array of platforms, including linear TV, subscription streaming and more than 20 FAST (free, ad-supported television) channels.
Mr. Dolan became CEO of AMC Networks in February 2023. In that capacity, she oversees the company’s portfolio of cable networks (AMC, BBC America, IFC, SundanceTV, We TV) and streaming services AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now, ALLBLK and HIDIVE. film distribution labels Independent Film Company and RLJE Films; AMC Studios, the company’s in-house studio, production and distribution operations; AMC Networks International, its international programming operations;
Prior to joining AMC Networks, Dolan was CEO of 605, an audience measurement and data analytics company he founded in 2016. Prior to that, he spent 16 years at Cablevision Systems (now part of Altice USA) in various operational roles, including Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Dolan was a key member of the executive team that oversaw Cablevision’s $17.7 billion sale to Altice USA in 2016 and helped lead the subsequent transition.
Prior to joining Cablevision, he began his career in 1989 at AMC Networks (then known as Rainbow Media) in various marketing roles, including affiliate marketing and distribution.
Dolan is a member of the NCTA Board of Directors, an industry association that includes the Internet & Television Association (and the NCTA Educational Foundation), the Paley Media Center, Cable Center’s Syndeo Institute, Sphere Entertainment, and Wendy’s. She also serves on the President’s Councils of the University at Albany and Pace University.
