Keith Urban’s guitarist Maggie Bo has teased her new song “The Devil Win,” which includes lyrics about her and Urban’s conflicted feelings as romance rumors swirl around them.
Beau shared a clip of herself singing part of the song on Instagram on Thursday. The lyrics go, “I don’t know what the hell I believe/I don’t know how to heal my soul/And I don’t know how to fight these feelings and this is such a good place to go.”
Beau also sings, “No matter how close I get to the fiery edge/It’s tempting, I won’t let the devil win.”
The 25-year-old musician wore a white silk button-down shirt in the video, which he teamed with black shorts, sheer tights, and knee-high boots. She wore her long brunette hair under a tan cowboy hat.
Beau was embroiled in romance rumors with Urban, 57, after his shocking split from Nicole Kidman, 58, after 19 years of marriage. The rumors started after an on-stage flirting moment between her and the fellow singer resurfaced.
In the months before Kidman filed for divorce from Urban, he and his band performed “The Fighter,” a song Urban had written for Kidman. During a performance in April, Urban sang the lyrics, “I was born to love you,” while staring and pointing at Beau.
In a recent performance, he changed the lyrics from “When they try to get to you, baby, I’ll be your fighter” to “When they try to get to you, Maggie, I’ll be your guitarist.”
The day before Urban and Kidman’s breakup was revealed, Beau posted a video of the lyrics change on Instagram with the caption, “Did he just say that 👀?”
Rumors that Beau and Urban are romantically involved remain unconfirmed. “I haven’t heard it either way,” her father, Chuck Baugh, told the Daily Mail last week.
“I don’t know anything about her except that she’s his guitarist,” Chuck said.
“This is more of a musician thing than a date,” he continued.
In an interview that resurfaced in 2017, McGee said he was against the band’s romance.
“There was always a rule, ‘You can’t date anyone in the band,’ because what happens if we break up and we don’t have a drummer?” she told Piper’s Pick TV.
Meanwhile, TMZ previously reported that Urban is already dating another woman after his split from Kidman.
“All signs point to the fact that Keith is with another woman,” multiple sources close to the “Big Little Lies” actress told the outlet.
“I’m telling you, Nicole doesn’t dispute that, but she’s still shocked.”
One insider even claimed that “all of Nashville is a problem.”
