Hilaria Baldwin admitted she’s “jealous” of the remaining contestants on “Dancing with the Stars” after their shocking elimination on Tuesday.
“First of all, this is an experience I never thought I’d have and I’m so grateful for it,” she said on the official “DWTS” podcast shortly after she and professional partner Gleb Savchenko left.
“I’m proud of them. I’m a little jealous, but I’m proud of the guys who can go to practice tomorrow,” she told host Joey Graziadei, sitting alongside Savchenko, 42.
The mother of seven said the elimination was an even bigger blow as she thought she would never dance again after breaking bones and having “so many babies” in the past.
When asked about having the opportunity to dance professionally again, Hilaria, who married Alec Baldwin in 2012, tearfully said, “I opened my heart and now my heart is broken again.”
“I was 41 years old and I met Alec when I was 27. Since then, the world has been trying to bring me down, and they have,” she added, referring to the backlash she received from some fans because of her previous dancing experience. “No matter what I do, it’s not enough.”
The yoga instructor added that she felt she had “let the kids down” by being left out of the show, but Savchenko told them how proud she and her family were of her.
“You work hard every day in the studio. You are a true inspiration. You are not only a mother, an amazing mother of seven wonderful children, but also a true superhero in the dance studio,” exclaimed the professional dancer.
He also said that Hilaria was one of the most advanced partners he had ever danced with, and that it was an honor to perform a high-level routine that he had not been able to do on the show before.
“Whatever it is, you should be proud of yourself,” he insisted.
The host of the Mama Brain podcast thanked Savchenko for being “very patient” throughout the experience and said she would miss spending time with him.
“We came into each other’s lives at a very special time, and you will be my friend forever.”
When Graziadei asked her what her biggest takeaway from the experience was and what advice she would give to children, Hilaria became emotional, claiming she was “targeted over and over again” and warning about cyberbullying.
She concluded by saying that while she was “hurt” by being voted out, she was “proud” of the contestants who stayed on, and that she hoped the negative opinions about her would stop online because women should support each other.
Hilaria recently hit back at claims that she is the wife of “Nepo” and Alec cast her on “DWTS.”
“If he called me, it would be easier for me, but I wouldn’t feel entitled to the call,” she said on Tuesday’s episode of the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast.
“I’m a hard worker. I want to earn something for myself,” she added.
Last month, she exclusively told Page Six how the ABC show has been “healing” for her family after a “tough” few years.
She has come under intense scrutiny for her “fake accent” and Alec, 67, has been charged with manslaughter after she was shot dead on the set of the movie “The Last.” The case was dismissed in July 2024.
“Dancing with the Stars is a great family and everyone is so supportive and they made it possible,” she exclaimed. “So these kids, who have been going through really hard times over the past few years, come here every day and see their moms happy going to work.”
