This color really suits her.
Duchess Kate, 43, made an unannounced appearance at Home Start Oxford on Thursday, wearing a striking chartreuse green pantsuit by designer friend Victoria Beckham.
She wore a coordinating knit long-sleeved top and her favorite Ralph Lauren Celia tan pumps ($750) for the visit, which focused on early childhood development and family relationships, and wore her hair up in long, loose waves.
As for the jewelry, the Princess of Wales kept it simple with Kiki McDonough amethyst pear drop earrings ($1,130) and Daniella Draper gold trio diamond midnight moon necklace (starting at $1,800) personalized with the children’s initials.
This isn’t the first time Middleton has donned this particular suit, but it carries special meaning today, as a new documentary about the famous singer-turned-designer has just been released on Netflix.
She debuted the suit in May at a British Fashion Council awards ceremony to present the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design to sustainability-minded designer Patrick McDowell. For the occasion, she styled it with a white ruffled blouse and matching Ralph Lauren heels.
Swap out a contrasting top for a chartreuse knit of the same color for a fall vibe and a striking silhouette. The monochrome styling makes the colors stand out.
During the visit, Ms Middleton met with volunteers from Home Start Oxford and joined the family during a stay and play session.
The mother of three, who has made early childhood a focus of her royal work, recently issued a stern warning about screen time, writing in an essay: “When we check our phones during a conversation, scroll through social media during a family dinner, or respond to an email while playing with our children, we are not only distracted, but we are abandoning the basic forms of love necessary for human connection.”
The Princess co-authored the piece with Professor Robert Waldinger for the Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood Education, which she founded in 2021.
Prince William previously revealed that his and Duchess Kate’s three children – Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7 – do not have smartphones, with the family focusing on spending quality time and having dinner together.
The surprise outing comes as Duchess Kate continues to gradually return to royal duties following her cancer diagnosis.
She announced in September 2024 that she had completed chemotherapy and confirmed that she was in remission in January of this year.
