Sidney Sweeney remains focused on her career despite her whirlwind relationship with music mogul Scooter Braun.
The 28-year-old “Euphoria” star attended the Hamptons International Film Festival over the weekend where she received the Acting Achievement Award for her performance in “Christie.”
The film has received Oscar buzz for Sweeney’s portrayal of pioneering female boxer Christy Martin.
Brown, who helped launch the careers of Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande, was absent from the film festival, but sources told Page Six that Sweeney could be heard praising his new girlfriend’s business savvy.
“She enjoys having someone to advise her about her career,” the source said.
Sweeney is also heard to be “having a great time” with Brown, 44, but a source warned: “Don’t expect any wedding bells…her priority is her career.”
Sweeney has been busy in recent years with a variety of projects, from the hit romantic comedy “Anyone But You” to “Madame Web,” “Immaculate,” “Eden,” “Echo Valley” and “Americana.” Upcoming projects include Amazon MGM’s “Split Fiction” and another season of HBO’s “Euphoria.”
She has also led ad campaigns for HeyDude footwear, Samsung, Baskin-Robbins, and the infamous American Eagle, and has also worked with Miu Miu, Armani Beauty, Laneige, and Dr. Squatch.
Sources previously told Page Six that Brown is likely to be a key addition to Sweeney’s business plans.
“Given his urge to promote everything, the bondage in the relationship probably won’t last long,” a source told Us, further explaining, “He’ll start posting[about her]and probably become more involved in her career.”
According to sources, the relationship between the two is serious.
“They are working hard,” a source told us. “It’s not a casual relationship. It’s game on and full throttle. They’re in it together.”
Sweeney and Brown first met at Bezos and Sanchez’s wedding in Venice in June of this year.
Brown has three children with ex-husband Yael Cohen. The two separated in 2021, and their divorce was finalized in 2022.
This is his first public relationship since their breakup.
Sweeney split from her fiancé of seven years, Jonathan Davino, earlier this year. Davino worked as a producer on two of Sweeney’s films.
