For Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner, this is New York or nowhere.
The couple went on a date night at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday, October 8, to watch the Yankees take on the Toronto Blue Jays in the American League Division Series. The Blue Jays won 5-2 and will advance to the AL Championship Series.
Chalamet, 29, wore an oversized black, white and blue Yankees bomber jacket, and at times removed his coordinating baseball cap to reveal his freshly shaved head. The Complete Unknown star was seen screaming passionately as he watched the match from the stands.
Jenner, 28, wore a similar bomber jacket with “Marty Supreme” embroidered on it, a reference to Chalamet’s upcoming film of the same name. The New York City native wore the same jacket in a promotional video for his new movie, which he shared on Instagram on Tuesday, October 7, in which he revealed that he had shaved off his famous curly hair.
Tuesday marked the first time the Dune: Part 2 actor fully and publicly revealed his shaved head. However, there were several times when Chalamet was spotted with his head covered and little or no curls.
In early July, Chalamet was photographed wearing a navy blue Nike baseball cap and a green and white bandana on a day trip with Jenner to Chelona Beach in Saint-Tropez, France. Both had their heads partially covered and appeared to be shaved. The reason for his shaved head remains a mystery, but he is about to begin work on Dune: Part 3.
On Tuesday, Chalamet and writer-director Josh Safdie surprised audiences with a secret screening of Marty Supreme at the New York Film Festival. In this film, the actor brings to life the fictional story of professional table tennis player Marty Reisman.

In a video shared on the film festival’s account, Jenner appeared backstage with her boyfriend before she and Safdie surprised the crowd on stage to introduce the film. Joined on stage by cast members Gwyneth Paltrow, Tyler, the Creator, Odessa Azion, and Ronald Bronstein, Chalamet called the film “a love letter to New York.”

After the screening, Jenner and Chalamet celebrated at an afterparty at the Waverly Inn, where they spent most of the night sitting in a booth with friends, an onlooker tells PEOPLE.
The two are not experts in the sports world. In May, they watched several New York Knicks games together and made their long-awaited red carpet debut.
Marty Supreme opens on December 25th.
