Kate Gosselin is being cared for by boyfriend Steve Nield while recovering from knee surgery.
The “John & Kate Plus 8” alum shared a slideshow of photos showing “a day in my life right now” via Tiktok on Wednesday, updating fans on his healing journey.
In one of them, she gave a shout-out to her beau while sharing a photo of her breakfast, which consisted of cereal and coffee.
“Breakfast made with special love…you know who made it,” she wrote with a laughing emoji, apparently referring to Nield. “Protein/dietary fiber cereal with banana”
Gosselin, 50, was hospitalized last week with a tibial plateau fracture after her dog accidentally bumped into her while playing in the park with her boyfriend.
She later announced that she was discharged from the hospital on October 2nd after undergoing “surgery to put a plate and pins in her leg.”
Gosselin told her TikTok followers in September that she had been in a new relationship for “a little over a year, maybe 14 (or) 15 months.”
The TLC star did not reveal her new boyfriend’s name, explaining that “he doesn’t really like being on TikTok.”
However, a source later exclusively told Page Six that Gosselin is dating former bodyguard Nield and they are currently living together.
“They have wedding plans. It’s very serious,” the source said.
“There’s no doubt Kate is crazy about him…things are serious. They’re talking about wedding plans and taking the next step,” the source added.
Nield and Gosselin were rumored to be dating for years, before Nield first started working with the reality star in 2008.
They were both married at the time (Kate divorced ex-husband Jon Gosselin in 2009) and were rumored to be having an affair, which Kate vehemently denied at the time.
Mr Nield, now divorced, has been photographed with his girlfriend numerous times over the years, while working as a bodyguard for his eight children.
