“Buccaneers” has been added to Season 3 on Apple TV+.
The acclaimed drama is based on Edith Wharton’s unfinished last novel of the same name and follows a group of young American girls as they rock the courting scene in 1870s London.
“In Season 3, our Buccaneers fight back, and they do it together,” teases a press release announcing the renewal. “When they arrived in England, they were all trying to get over their first loves. Now they are looking for the love of their lives. And with a new mysterious Duke at the helm, Tintagel too faces an uncertain future. If polite British society thought the American girls had rocked the boat, this new rogue duke is about to sink it.”
‘Buccaneers’ Season 2 Starring Christine Froseth, Alisha Boe, Aubrey Ybragg, Josie Touta, Imogen Waterhouse, Mia Threppleton, Christina Hendricks, Leighton Meester, Grace Ambrose, Maria Almeida, Amelia Bullmore, Fenella Woolgar, Guy Remmers, Matthew Bloom, Josh Dylan, Bernie Fishwick, Greg Wise and Jacob Eifan.
Series creator Katherine Jakeways said in a statement: “We couldn’t be more excited to strap on our corsets, don our ballgowns, and run breathlessly over the cliffs of Tintagel for the third time to see what passionate adventures our beloved Buccaneers will take on next.” “A huge thank you to Apple TV+ and our loyal viewers who love this show as much as we do.”
“The Buccaneers” was written by Jake Ways, and Season 2 was directed by William McGregor, Rachel Reiterman, John Hardwick, and Charlie Manton. Jake Ways and Beth Willis will serve as executive producers, with Joe Innes joining as executive producer for season three. “The Buccaneers” is produced for Apple TV+ by The Forge Entertainment, a Banijay UK company.
