Travis Kelsey couldn’t help but balk when asked what he thought about his fiancée Taylor Swift writing a mean song about him.

“‘Wood.’ Great, great soundtrack,” Jason Kelce told his brother while discussing the singer’s 12th album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” on Wednesday’s episode of “New Heights.”

Travis burst out laughing at the question and agreed, “It’s a great song.”

Unable to keep a straight face, Jason asked, “Do you feel insecure or cocky about the song ‘Wood’?”

“No,” Travis replied. “Every song she mentions me in is so great…I love that girl, what do you mean? Every song she references me in some way…”

When Jason, 37, pointed out that the track wasn’t about Travis, but more specifically about his “appendages,” he trailed off.

The tight end denied this, claiming, “What? I don’t think you understand the song. That’s not true!”

The former Philadelphia Eagles center then teased Travis by quoting the lyrics, “Sequoia trees/It’s not hard to see.”

“I thought redwood was a bit…a generous word. If someone wrote a song about me, it would be like, ‘Japanese maple/Sometimes I see it,'” Jason continued, and everyone in the studio went into hysterics.

On her latest album, Swift entered her sassiest era with the release of a song called “Wood,” about her and Travis’ sex life.

In it, she shockingly sings: “Forgive me, I sound cocky / He matized me (ah!) / And opened my eyes / Sequoia trees / It’s not hard to see / His love was the key / It opened my thighs.

“Girls, I don’t need to accept a bouquet/To know that hard rock is on the way/(…)/The curse placed on me has been shattered by your magic wand,” she continues, before specifically shouting out Travis’ “new heights of manliness.”

Despite the dual purpose evident throughout the song, Swift coyly said at the official release party for the movie Showgirls that the song is about superstition.

She later revealed in an interview with Jimmy Fallon that she originally wrote the song inspired by “all the superstitions” such as knocking on wood.

“It started really, really innocently,” the 35-year-old music icon insisted on Monday’s episode of “The Tonight Show.” “I don’t know what happened, dude.”

She said that once she “got in” and “started vibing,” the song changed.

“I don’t know how I got here, but I love this song so much,” the songwriter joked, later adding, “The level of spice on this album is high.”

“Give up on Taylor. She’s done it again. Tilting the world. It was fun to see everyone’s reactions,” Travis said. new heights podcast

Jason and Travis praised Swift for “doing it again” at the beginning of the latest episode of their podcast on Wednesday.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end said, “I wish Taylor would give it up, she did it again. It was fun to tilt the world and see everyone’s reaction and we really enjoyed watching her on the press tour and on the radio and all the talk shows that are scheduled for this week here.”

He went on to passionately say that the “Fate of Ophelia” singer “looks great, sounds great, and this album is really great.”

Travis also said that he listened to “The Life of a Showgirl” “with all my heart because it’s her work and I want her to be appreciated for what she is.”

“I think that’s the best thing, that the people you’re in the room with are open to what they’re making. But yeah, like she said, it was fun listening to all these songs knowing that some of them were about our life together,” he added.

“I’m a lucky guy to be her support system while she releases the coolest album you’ve ever heard. I’m excited and happy for her. Everything seems to have gone perfectly — and you can see that from start to finish,” he continued, concluding. “I couldn’t be happier because she’s happy and she’s proud of this and I’m proud of her for overcoming the obstacles to make her dreams come true.”

The podcast co-host also said that “Actually Romantic,” which the Swifties think is about Charli XCX, is a song he listens to nonstop.

When Swift announced her 12th studio album on her New Heights podcast in August, Kelce also revealed that “Opalite” was her top song.

Besides “Opalite” and “Wood,” the songstress also wrote “Wish List,” “The Life of Ophelia,” and “Honey” about NFL stars.

The A-list couple got engaged after two years of dating after filming a podcast episode in August.
