Mandy No Moore!
Mandy Moore recently debuted her new look while attending Step Up’s 2025 Inspiration Awards held at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles.
The “This Is Us” star, 41, posed for photos on the red carpet on Sept. 26 wearing a white silk blouse, black miniskirt, tights and pointy-toed heels.
She also wore bold red lipstick and light mascara and accessorized with small, delicate gold hoop earrings.
Fans immediately took notice of her unusual appearance and flooded social media with their confusion.
One person wrote to X: “I’m really baffled. I don’t understand how this is the same person. Mandy Moore was such a natural beauty so why does she have to work so hard to go unrecognized?”
“Sorry, but has anyone else seen Mandy Moore lately?!!!?!?! This is a far cry from the face she was assigned at birth??,” a second person joked.
“What exactly happened to Mandy Moore? Are they the same person? Literally months apart,” said a third person who shared photos of Moore before and after her illness.
“Still shocked that this person is Mandy Moore,” added another, while another agreed: “Mandy Moore is ridiculous.”
The “Candy” singer looked more like herself when she attended the 2025 Fashion Trust US Awards in Los Angeles in April.
The actress has had a tough year, facing backlash for posting a GoFundMe to support a family whose home in Altadena, Calif., was destroyed by the Eaton wildfire in January.
Critics were quick to criticize Moore for asking fans to donate to the fundraiser. But she told them, “Please be gentle.”
“People questioning whether we are helping our own families or attributing an arbitrary amount of money that Google says someone has is unhelpful and unsympathetic. Of course we are,” Moore explained in an Instagram post at the time.
Moore was also affected by the fire, with his home in Altadena sustaining minor fire damage.
“We just lost most of our lives in a fire. Please stop. No one is forcing you to do anything,” she wrote.
Her representative did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
