What is Travis Kelce’s favorite song on Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl?
The former NFL player shared the thoughts of him and his wife Kylie Kelse about the pop superstar’s smash new album on Wednesday, October 8th, about an episode of the New Heights podcast with his brother Travis Kelse, who is engaged with Swift.
“Well, when I texted the day it came out, I immediately said that the top two songs I liked were “Opalite” and “Operate son,” Jason, 37, explained his affinity for Kansas City’s chiefs tight end, 36, and “Opalite.”

“I’m the kind of sucker… I’m trying to figure out the right way to explain it, but you’re in the garbage dump. Everything is a bit of a thing, you know, you’re not right. You’re anxious in the world. “And, like, I’m everything about it.”
Jason praised the chorus as “Christmas Y” and “catchy, funny groove.” He then praised his “oldest daughter.”
“I’m a ballad sucker and I think the song and the emotion behind it look beautiful,” he explained. “Taylor is clearly a great writer. He was knocked out of the park along with that. I love the song.”
His other three immediate favorites included “The Fate of Ophelia,” “The Life of a Showgirl,” and “Really Romantic.”
“It feels a bit like the ’90s,” Jason said. “I thought it was a lot of fun. ‘wi$h li$t’ is probably what put it on the album’s top track. ”
He continued, “Kylie heard it first, and she was the one who told me to go back and listen to it. Sometimes I have to do that, so I heard it while reading the lyrics. But I think the emotion behind that song is amazing.”

According to Jason, “wi$h li$t” is characterized by a “smart” lyricism from Swift. “And I think it was just a very well done.”
“I like all the songs,” the four dads gushed. “I like ‘honey’. You know, Kylie hates being called a pet’s name.

Jason praised “Honey” as “fantastic,” saying, “I think she feels different in a relationship when someone calls you honey, when someone loves you. I think it did well.”
Elsewhere on the podcast, Jason asked Travis what he thought about the song “Wood,” which features Swift’s Risqué lyrics and a reference to his fiancee’s BDE.
